Hello and welcome to my blog/website.

I really hope you like what you see here. My style is a combination of fun, journalistic ( no posing) and fine art. My background as a fine arts painter and photojournalist gives me a unique perspective when shooting my weddings.

My paintings hang in galleries and private collections. My corporate photography clients is a virtual who's who in education, fortune 500 companies and stock agencies.

But weddings are my first love! I try and capture moments and emotions of the day, all with ease and fun.

Ashley and Chris married on Daniel Island

Ashley and Chris live in Florida but selected the beautiful Daniel Island Club for their wonderful wedding. Ashley and Chris are such great people with super friends and family. We did a fun engagement session earlier in the year and guests enjoyed writing kind thoughts in their engagement album guest book at the Club. Erin Foster from the Daniel Island Club once again, as always did a wonderful job as coordinator for the event. As you can see by the images, everyone had a great time at the reception and I was honored to be part of their day. All my best to Ashley and Chris and their loving families. I’ll always remember the toasts, very heartfelt!

Anne and Tom Wedding – Part II – Oneida, New York

Here are a few more images from this wonderful wedding.

Anne and Tom Wedding – Oneida, New York

What a blessing it was for me to photograph this wedding. The beautiful bride, Anne, is the daughter of a longtime friend. Our friendship goes back to my high school teaching days. Anne and Tom were so easy to work with and easy on the eyes as well.  I loved Anne’s Birdcage Veil and combined with her elegant dress she looked like a movie star. Having  a wonderful and energetic bridal party also helps. They were so much fun to work with.  The venue was the Beeches in Rome, NY and it was a perfect site on a perfect day in Upstate New York.  Enjoy!

Birgit and Austin married in Charleston

Birgit and Austin were married on a beautiful day in May here in Charleston. A wonderful and caring couple had a great day with friends and family. Very easy to work with, they wanted to do a “first look” and were even willing to get “arrested” and put in handcuffs during the photo session before the reception. Congratulations!
