Ashley and Chris asked me right away for direction during the engagement shoot. I simply told them to ” be yourself and have fun”. Soon their energy and personalities came out and we were rolling. I love shooting engagement sessions, these 2-3 hour sessions are all about the couples just having fun and being in love! I can’t wait for their Daniel Island Club wedding in July.

Dagni and John came into Charleston from Augusta for an engagement shoot. They wanted to shoot downtown and trusted me to find some interesting locations. So I asked them if they liked textures, “sure” so off we went to find some classic scenes and some other interesting locations. I always ask my couples to bring a change of clothes so all of the pictures won’t look the same. About halfway through the session they changed clothes and we explored some more. A terrific couple with plenty of energy, my kind of couple for sure. All my best.

Sarah and Keith are so much fun! “We are a bit goofy”, they told me before the shoot started. “Great, I love that.”. We explored a cool Charleston downtown for several hours. Can’t wait for the wedding. Engagement sessions should be fun and they made this session a blast.

Amber and Seth – Engaged!

Amber and Seth are getting married in March. But this past week they had a blast all over downtown Charleston. They were so much fun and so easy to work with. I can’t wait to shoot Amber’s bridals on Daniel Island in a few weeks and then their wedding at the Daniel Island Club later in the month. Thanks for being such good sports on another cool Charleston morning.

This is the perfect opportunity for everyone to get to know each other a bit better before the wedding. I take 2-3 hours with these shoots, multiple locations and we just have a blast. Cathy and Sachin are from Chicago and will be married here in Charleston, SC later this year. What a terrific and joyous couple. They were so much fun as we walked around downtown Charleston for their engagement shoot. I cannot wait to photograph their two day destination wedding this Spring.

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the wonderful Lauren and Ryan in downtown Charleston. We met downtown and spent over 2 hours wandering the streets and having a blast. They were good sports, up for everything including chasing shadows. Thanks guys!

I have known Jacquelyn since she was just a teen. Our families have been playing tennis together for a long time. Now she is all grown up and getting married to a wonderful man, James. I took this couple to Washington Park and then the State Capital in Albany, New York. We had a fun morning shooting wherever we thought might be a good location and we found many. Can’t wait to September and their wedding. Images will be posted soon.
