Boone Hall – Kentucky Derby Shoot – Part 1 – Boone Hall Plantation, Charleston, South Carolina

I am blessed to live in Charleston South Carolina. Not only do we have incredible locations such as the Boone Hall Plantation to shoot in, but we have an incredible mix of photographers called The Charleston Photography Group that organizes these fantastic shoots. The models here in Charleston are the best I have ever worked with. So this shoot was themed around “Derby Day” complete with colorful outfits, the elegant hats and all the fun and friendship that is a day at the races. Enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed shooting them.

In 2011 Peter Finger Weddings is launching something unheard of in the wedding photography business. Starting this Spring 2011 we will be offering packages called MORE.

What this means is that the more time booked, especially for those brides willing to take creative risks, will actually COST LESS than my other packages. That’s right, LESS.

So why would any photographer spend MORE time and charge LESS?? For me it’s all about the final product. I have discovered over the years that couples who allow me to shoot longer, to shoot in more creative locations, open to more exciting ideas, the couples that do a “first glance” and perhaps a day after session all wind up with images that exceed everyone’s expectations.

I want to really push those creative ideas this year. I have also decided to take on fewer weddings. This will allow me to focus more on each wedding and yes, spend more time with my couples.

So if you are looking for a photographer who will actually want to spend more time shooting with you, but without charging you extra for it, please consider my new “MORE”.

These packages will also include more products and yes, these additional products are included for LESS. But yes there is a catch!

Couples who decide on my new MORE Packages, will need to commit their time and creative thinking to each wedding. So these MORE packages will not be for everyone. I am looking for those couples who love photography! I am searching for couples who want to go beyond creative and are willing to spend the extra time to help create amazing images.

I will be launching complete details at the Charleston Bridal Show in North Charleston on Sunday February 20th ( 12:00 – 5:00PM) .

Christina and Randy – A proposal on Daniel Island

So I am sitting in my office and I get a call from Trimark, they are a successful SEO internet marketing firm. I begin to talk to Randy the president of the company. He is looking for a photographer, no problem “when’s the wedding?”.

Well this was not for a wedding, this was for the proposal! He was spending time on Daniel Island ( where I live) and wanted to document this important event in his life.

We planned it all out, I was shooting “wildlife” from a trail bridge and he and his now fiancee Christina were taking a nice walk on that same bridge. At 9:00AM exactly… well here are the images. She said YES! Congrats to both, a wonderful couple. Her family was even in town for the event. The friendly dog belongs to them and is very much part of the family.
