On Friday February 10th 2012, from 6-8:00PM, I will have the grand opening of my one man show of canvas prints at the Honeycomb Cafe and gallery on Daniel Island. Stop by to take a look at over 20 canvases of my work. The show is entitled “The Fine Art of Wedding Photography”. This post is a sneak preview of some of the many images which will be on display through the month of February. It’s going to be a great Valentine’s month display of couples in love! The opening is open to the public, hope to see you at the show.

I am blessed to live on beautiful Daniel Island located just outside Charleston, SC. My office and studio are just steps from some very inspiring landscapes. These photos are just a small part of a current photography exhibit I have located at the Honeycomb Cafe and Gallery on Daniel Island. I have photographed several weddings, a few engagement shoots and even a proposal right here on Daniel Island. When you come visit my wedding studio for a visit, I’ll be glad to show you around a few of my favorite spots.

Erin and Hunter were married on a beautiful weekend on the incredible Seabrook Island. The Seabrook Island Club served as the venue after a very special outdoor ceremony at the Ocean Terrace. What an incredible couple! So much fun, so relaxed and full of life. The day was picture perfect with a spectacular sunset. The ceremony was timed so that I had time to spend with the newlyweds on the beach before the reception. Everything was perfect all day long. Thanks Erin and Hunter for making me a part of your wedding day. All my best!

The Pepper Plantation in Awendaw, SC was the location of the incredible wedding of Jennifer and Jeff. Shannon Eugley was the event and wedding planner from My Timeless Events who made sure all the details were perfect. The Plantation is a great space for any wedding and especially those who love the great outdoors. It was a wonderful day filled with joy, sunshine, showers and tons of happiness. Christine and Michael were recently married on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon in Charleston, South Carolina. What a very nice fun couple. They put so much care into all of the details of their wedding. The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Luke’s Chapel. This was followed by a lively reception at The Lighthouse on Shem Creek. Congratulations to Christine and Michael.

Anatomy of a Wedding Album

I provide two DVD’s of your wedding images in full sized res. These DVD’s contain anywhere from 600 to over a thousand images depending on your package. The bride and groom then provides me with the images they want in their album. Our design team then designs the album and sends you a complete .pdf file for your approval. We love using single images on certain pages and not more than 3-4 on others. We design clean, elegant, contemporary albums and you have hundreds of choices of covers and covers are available in dozens of materials including metal. The album shown in this post is a simple black cover with an inset image. A horizontal format allows the album to open up wide for a more dramatic presentation. Every single album is custom designed and printed. Albums are also provided in most packages for both your engagement and bridal sessions.

Tammie and Neal were married on a beautiful hot summer June day in Charleston, South Carolina. Before the ceremony I was able to do a “first look” with this wonderful couple at Hampton Park near the Citadel. These moments are always very special and this one will go down as one of my favorites. After the first look we continued to take some fun outdoor photos with the weeding party which allowed more freedom and time for photos after the ceremony. The reception rocked into the evening with friends and family having a blast.

Aubrey and Will are such a warm and sweet couple. I had the absolute pleasure and honor to photograph their June wedding recently. The outdoor ceremony and wedding reception was held at the beautiful Creek Club at I’on in Mount Pleasant just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. Friends and family gathered here for a lovely wedding and a lively reception. I took the couple for a walk on the docks and was blessed with a stunning sunset with warm light.
